Collection of deceased
We collect your loved one and bring them into our care from all Melbourne areas including the Mornington Peninsula, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Administration
We prepare and collect all the statutory certificates and documentation, needed to perform direct cremation, these may include Coronial Releases, Medical Certificates, Doctors Cremation Certificates or as may be required.
Coffin
We care for the environment and utilise the "Daisybox®" earth Friendly coffin for direct cremation. The Daisybox® is made from strong corrugated fibre board. Families can choose to collect and personally decorate their coffin if required.
Cremation
We utilise only Victorian based Crematoriums, to ensure we can keep our costs low to you and remain in control of your loved one. We do NOT use interstate crematoriums for direct cremation . This ensures we can return your loved ones ashes back to you as quickly as possible.
Registration of Death
We prepare all registration of death documentation and include either a full or interim certificate in our fees. Registration of death can only occur after cremation takes place. Typically the Death certificate will arrive via express post within a few weeks after registration is submitted.
Deliver Cremated remains
We personally deliver cremated remains by hand directly to you in all Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula areas. Postage is available to other areas across Australia if required.
Ours Fees
Our direct cremation fee from $2185 inclusive of all services (See ABC Cremations Itemised price List) .
ABC Cremation PLUS+ $2,600 (Option is available for those requiring more expedient return of cremated remains or for those requesting the cremation occur in Melbourne.
Our fees are payable prior to cremation occurring, payments may be made via eft, or Visa or Master Card credit card (a 0.99% merchant fee apply to credit card payments ).
An invoice will be issued to you once you engage us to provide our services

Other fees will apply if:
- Transfer of deceased outside of suburban areas.
- Bariatric or oversize coffin is required.
